As Sales Support Engineer you are part of the international Sales team.


In this role you contribute to develope the French, North African and overseas markets for our entire Hansen Industrial Transmissions product range, by supporting the external sales team in France.

Your main tasks & responsibilities will be:

1. Process and follow up on customers' commercial and technical requests & needs:

  • Preparation of project bids, replacement of older-generation equipment and replacement of competing equipment. Using our catalogs, in-house specifications, software and configurators. Also by making requests to the Group's factories, in compliance with the SHI Group's pricing guidelines
  • Technical research via our internal platforms and website to support our customers and/or field sales representatives during installation and use of our industrial equipment
  • Creation of opportunities in our Salesforce CRM system, including the creation of leads, contacts, offers,..

2. Order management

  • Prepare and assemble the elements needed to register orders in our ERP system and send them to the Hansen Backoffice for final acceptance; using as a support the established offer, purchase price (ERP system, supplier offer,..), checking all data (contact details, price, quantity..) and ensuring possible deadlines (Contract Review)
  • Update opportunities in our CRM system (Salesforce)

3. Handling an After-Sales service and non-conformities:

  • support for traveling Sales Representatives and timely handling of complaints with the help of Hansen After-Sales Service
     

4. Informing/periodic reporting to line manager
