For our Sales department we are looking for a

Sales Manager Service and Aftermarket Business (m/w/d)

located in Germany (Nordrhein-Westfalen or alternatively Rheinland-Pfalz; Hessen)

Your main tasks

  • Definition of target applications, industries, and customers
  • Targeting ‘end-user’ business in Germany
  • Maintaining the existing customer base and acquiring new, profitable customers and developing longstanding customer relationships.
  • Customer visits, presentation of companies and products and arousing interest
  • Selection of drives, price calculation and preparation of offers
  • Evaluating and understanding applications and failure analysis
  • Order negotiations with customers
  • Collaborate with factories and internal sales to share labor and support
  • Initiation of technically and commercially clarified orders for processing by factories
  • Assisting factories with order processing and any complaints
  • Monitoring markets and trends and reporting them to management
  • Supporting management in the preparation of the annual budget and the monthly forecast regarding incoming orders

Your Requirements

  • Training as a mechanical or electrical engineer or similar training
  • Several years of experience in B2B business in industry
  • Good analytical and negotiation skills
  • Accustomed to working independently and being a team player
  • Accustomed to using tools such as Microsoft Office and open to the use of the CRM system
  • Language: German and English, Spoken and written.
  • Flexibility to travel in Germany and within Europe when required.
