Technical Services Lead – Network & Infrastructure (m/f/d)

You will be responsible for providing technical support and solving complex IT problems. Your main tasks include the administration, maintenance and monitoring of Windows servers, our virtual server infrastructure, ensuring network availability and security as well as the maintenance and administration of the OT environment in the company

What you’ll do:

• Network Architecture & Design

  • Design and optimize network topologies (including firewalls, network switches and routers).

  • Ensure scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery capabilities.

  • Plan and implement secure, segmented networks.

• Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee physical and virtual servers (Windows Servers (2008 - 2025), Active Directory, Azure, PowerShell, SCCM, Exchange and server migrations).

  • Maintain storage solutions, backup systems, and disaster recovery plans.

  • Monitor and upgrade hardware and firmware for servers, switches, routers, and firewalls.

  • Administration and monitoring of OT systems, including the integration of IT and OT networks and the protection of industrial control systems and devices

• System Administration, Performance & Monitoring

  • Administration of user accounts, authorisations and passwords as well as administration of the IDM portal, system monitoring, maintenance and further development of Solarwinds ARM processes

  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks or outages.

  • Report on service uptime, performance metrics, and usage trends.

• Security Oversight

  • Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

  • Maintaining accurate records of system-related changes, creating documentation in the IT infrastructure in relation to servers and network

What we are looking for:

• Several years of professional experience in IT support and system administration

• Sound knowledge of network technologies, operating systems and IT security standards

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking

• Very good communication and teamwork skills
