Sumitomo Drive Technologies gears up to show new products at SPS Italia

Stand L021, Hall 5 at SPS Italia (26-28 May) will see the launch of the Fine Cyclo® B series, the next generation of precision gearboxes with no backlash from Sumitomo Drive Technologies. 

The Sumitomo Drive Technologies team will also be showing the NEO Essential series - a compact and cost-effective range of gearmotors for standard applications which was launched at the end of last year.

Smartris, the integrated plug-and-play drive system for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) - now available with the new Compact Plus drive controller, will also be on show for the first time at SPS Italia. Show visitors will also be able to find out about the SmartrisApp which has been designed to optimize commissioning and diagnostics.

As well as the latest gearbox technologies, the SPS Italia stand will also feature some of Lafert’s newest innovations in electric motors up to class IE6, ‘all-in-one’ HPC and HPI solutions, and battery powered solutions for logistics mobility.

HP Axial is a super-premium efficiency IE5 PM motor with integrated drive which provides maximum integration for axial fans, whilst HP Combi combines a PM motor with a drive to offer a plug and play solution for total speed control.

The drive technology included in the Lafert integrated solutions is provided by variable frequency drives specialist, Invertek Drives which is also part of Sumitomo Drive Technologies.
