Dedicated HVAC-R drive technologies on show at MCE in Milan this month
Sumitomo Drive Technologies brands will be showcasing their latest motion control innovations to Italy’s HVAC-R industry at the MCE (Mostra Convegno Expocomfort) show at Fiera Milano from 24th-27th March.
Gears, motors, variable speed drives and integrated solutions which all deliver reliable, precise performance and energy optimisation for a wide range of HVAC-R applications will be on display on stand 11, K19.

The continuous duty nature of applications in the HVAC-R industry means energy efficiency is vital. Lafert high and variable speed motors with constant torque are designed for continuous operation. Invertek Drives will be introducing its newest general purpose drive, Optidrive E4, to the Italian market for the first time at MCE. Optidrive E4 offers a range of features including dual-channel safe torque off (STO) certified to SIL3, USB-C and Bluetooth connectivity, industrial ethernet communications, embedded diagnostics, and a built-in flight recorder – all designed to offer additional capability which is easy to use.
Visitors will also be able to see dedicated HVAC-R products including Optidrive ECO – AC drives designed specifically for fan and pump control in building services applications, and the Optidrive Coolvert range developed to control BLDC (brushless direct current compressors), heat pumps and condensing units.
