Shaping growth from a marketing perspective
Since 1 July, Philipp Meinhardt from Munich, Germany, has been the new Head of Marketing Communications EMEIA at Sumitomo (SHI) Cyclo Drive Germany GmbH and responsible for the development and implementation of communication strategies for the various product families and brands under the umbrella brand Sumitomo Drive Technologies. His complex tasks include the expansion of corporate communications as well as brand management, online and event marketing. Philipp Meinhardt will, among other things, expand the media work in specialist publications digitally and classically and further strengthen the brand awareness of Sumitomo Drive Technologies as a leading supplier for drive technology.
The well-educated and experienced marketing specialist with a technological background is also changing the industry with this new task and is looking forward to the challenge: "The industry has been experiencing strong growth for years. In addition, the company's portfolio is constantly expanding. The acquisition of the Lafert Group and the associated access to new markets will further expand the scope of the umbrella brand considerably. Philipp Meinhardt is based at the German branch and EMEIA headquarters of the Drive Technology Division of Sumitomo Heavy Industries, known under the brand name Sumitomo Drive Technologies in Markt Indersdorf. From there he will further develop the corporate communications of the technologically leading company.
