Sumitomo Cyclo Drive 6000 gearmotors and reducers are still unsurpassed where drive technology is concerned. The unique Cyclo principle with its rolling process offers a considerable advantage over a conventional reduction gear with involute toothing. In contrast to conventional spur gears, where one to two teeth absorb the entire load, in a Cyclo gear the load is distributed over at least 30% of the cycloid disks.
