Right Angle Shaft Reducer for Cooling Tower Fans

  • Specifically optimized for running cooling tower fans.
  • No protrusions on the mounting surface, which makes transporting and mounting easy.
  • Engineered with heat dissipation in mind, to maintain optimal temperature for the reducer in the vicinity of the cooling tower fan, where airflow is minimal.
  • Uses a 25° gear pressure angle for high dedendum strength. Reducer with high load capacity, capable of withstanding strong impact loads.

Product Features

Withstands Vibration
The bearing span for the cooling fan drive shaft (on the output stage of our reducer) is made longer, allowing the reducer to withstand vibration.
The mounting surface is aligned evenly against the cooling fan drive surface for uniform load transfer during operation.
Flat Mounting Surface
There are no protrusions on the mounting surface, which makes transporting and mounting easy.
This remains true even when the optional backstop and oil pump are attached.
Withstands High-Temperature Environments
Engineered with heat dissipation in mind, to maintain optimal temperature for the reducer in the vicinity of the cooling tower fan, where airflow is minimal.
Easy Maintenance
Capable of continuous operation for one year.
A connecting pipe enables venting and supply/drain of oil from outside the fan assembly.
The inspection cover is located above the oil level, allowing easy inspection while mounted without having to drain the oil.
High-Strength Gears
Uses a 25° gear pressure angle for high dedendum strength. Reducer with high load capacity, capable of withstanding strong impact loads.
